AIR JORDAN - JUMPMAN 23 - Nike Inc. produced a brand Air Jordan that is also known as Air Jordans, Jordans shoes, MJ, or Nike Air Jordan. This shoe brand is also designed and endorsed by famous and legend NBA Player Superstar Michael Jordan, although Michael Jordan retired from basketball, a pair of signature shoes that they are previously created are introduced by Jordan Brand each and every year after each first released in 1981. The Nike Inc. created the Jordan Brand as one of thier subsidiary and they are using the Jumpman logo to promote the Jordan Brand, only one style of shoes can be re-introduced each year and it can be re-introduced in different colors scheme or different colorways. To promote Jordan shoes including Michael Jordan's related merhandise Nike Inc. used the Jumpman logo and addition to that they also include the famous and successful basketball shoes of Air Jordan Brand.The Jordan Brand also produces a line of Team shoes, separate from the signature line of Air Jordan shoes.As many believed that this is not the actual dunk, the Jumpman logo is a silhouette of studio photograph of Michael Jordan performing a ballet move.The jumpman logo always accompanied by Jordan beginning in 1981 even when the word Nike only displayed on the product was Jordan. The Jordan Brand also releases shoes for only one day so that the shoes has a more value and the retro idea will not fade its popularity. Finally in 1988, the Air Jordan III (3) finally came out and released on that year and it was the most popular shoes ever. The Air Jordan III (3) was the first shoes to feature the Jumpman logo replacing the its old logo, the "wings logo" which is the feature of the Air Jordan I, Air Jordan II (2) shoes. The Jumpman logo would retain a fairly consistent look throughout the Air Jordan line's history, except on the Air Jordan VIII which was a reminicent a sign of peace. Nike also ran a series of Air Jordan commercials pairing Michael Jordan with Warner Brothers own Bugs Bunny In 1993-94, Nike created a line of merchandise which featured a spoof of the Jumpman using Bugs silhouette, combined with a "Hare Jordan" caption as a tie-in.The Air Jordan line that are released per year and model are classified by collectors as Originals (OG), Retros, Retro-pluses (Retro +), Player Exclusive (PE) and Samples.
